Believe it or not, in just a few days we will ease on into February. If you’ve purchased a snow removal service for 2018 you’re probably wondering “where is the snow?” We did some digging at DeCarlo Landscaping and we’ve turned to The Old Farmer’s Almanac for our February forecast to see just what the predictions are for Northern New Jersey.

February 2017, according to their prediction, the beginning of February will be one of the coldest periods of the winter. On top of it the week of Valentines Day February 14-21 could bring us some rain, snow showers, and cold temperatures. This is a recipe for ice build-up and freezing surfaces. This prediction means that it is time to get prepared now before you are looking for an emergency snow removal or ice control. Whether you are a business owner, property manager or homeowner, here is what you can do to get prepared for the snow.

Take Action:

  • Homeowners: Get your supplies ready! Shop for a snow shovel, the proper ice melt for your driveway and sidewalk, a good pair of gloves. Get your snowblower tuned up, gassed up and ready.
  • Property manager/business owner: Its time to secure your snow contract NOW. You’ve waited it out, but you cannot wait much longer. Most reliable and licensed companies will be at capacity when the next storm comes. You will be stuck paying inflated prices for emergency snow removal from subpar companies.
  • If you need help: Consider hiring a residential or commercial snow removal service for your home. This saves you time, money and trouble.

Whatever your situation, it’s time to get ready for snow and colder temperatures New Jersey. February looks like snow, and we’re here for you! Call now to secure your 2018 snow removal service and get ahead of the rest.
